We are a small chapel in the heart of a beautiful Sussex village. We welcome people of all ages to join our congregation. Our services are a mix of traditional and modern with an active worship group.
We are one of fifteen churches in the West Sussex (Coast and Downs) Circuit, sharing a small number of full-time ministers. We share our Minister with the church at Goring.
We enjoy very close links with all the other churches in the area and have long been part of an Ecumenical Covenant with the local Anglican and Catholic Churches. We rejoice that this has now been expanded into an Ecumenical Partnership with all the Churches in the area allowing us to take part in a truly open Christian witness to our community. Our involvement in the local community includes a number of associations and clubs and we are especially proud of our contribution to the Ecumenical Luncheon Club.
We offer a warm welcome to all visitors to our services and our social events. In 2001 we refurbished the church, removed the pews and levelled the floor, and can now provide flexible seating to suit a variety of different services and events.
The picture shows our Church from the front arch which is covered by a lovely rose, providing a wonderful smell of roses in the late spring and early summer.
